TV presenter Davina McCall is out of intensive care and has made an “enormous leap forward” in the last 24 hours, following her surgery to remove a rare brain tumour.<\/p>\n

In an update on her Instagram account her partner Michael Douglas said: “Thanks so much to all the well wishers. She really has made an enormous leap forward in the last 24 hours. She is out of ICU.”<\/p>\n

The TV presenter, 57, previously posted a video on Instagram, to say she had been diagnosed with a type of benign tumour called a colloid cyst.<\/p>\n

A benign tumour is not cancerous, but such cysts tend to grow slowly, according to the Brainstrust charity.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/article>\n<\/div>\n
