{"id":17637,"date":"2024-11-18T14:26:21","date_gmt":"2024-11-18T14:26:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gpt.m2mbeta.com\/?p=17637"},"modified":"2024-11-18T14:26:21","modified_gmt":"2024-11-18T14:26:21","slug":"disruptive-snow-to-hit-uk-as-weather-warnings-issued","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gpt.m2mbeta.com\/?p=17637","title":{"rendered":"Disruptive snow to hit UK as weather warnings issued"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Monday will bring a spell of heavy rain which is likely to turn to snow as the low pressure system moves across the southern half of the UK and collides with colder air moving down from the north.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\"><a href=\"\/weather\/warnings\/weather\" class=\"ssrcss-16fdtb5-InlineLink e1kn3p7n0\">A yellow Met Office severe weather warning<\/a> is valid from Monday evening until Tuesday morning, covering southern Scotland, northern England, north Wales, Northern Ireland and the north Midlands.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Up to 20cm (8in) of snow is possible on the high ground of the south Pennines but even at lower levels we could expect to see perhaps 2-10cm (1-4in) of settling snow.
