According to a press release by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the conference focused on ways the EU can support the citizens of Moldova and the necessary measures to counter Russian Federation interference.<\/p>\n<p>\u201dMihai Popsoi presented the significant challenges our country faced during the presidential elections and outlined the vision for combating the malign influence exerted by criminal groups supported by Russia, who aim to derail Moldova from its European path. In this context, the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized the importance of EU support to strengthen the resilience of state institutions, continue the reform agenda, fight corruption, and ensure sustainable economic growth for the benefit of citizens,\u201d stated the Ministry of Foreign Affairs press release.<\/p>\n<p>The Moldovan Foreign Minister also emphasized the importance of advancing the EU accession process, including completing the screening process and launching direct negotiations, starting with Cluster I, Fundamental Values.<\/p>\n<p>\u201dThe political and financial support of the European Union is essential to maintaining Moldova\u2019s European path and improving the well-being of its people.
