The 2024 US election was heralded by both sides as one of the most crucial contests in recent American history, with Democrats in particular warning of the threat of a Donald Trump<\/a> return to the White House.<\/p>\n

Both sides urged their supporters to come to the polls to save the nation.<\/p>\n

In the end turnout was high<\/a> for a US presidential contest \u2013 almost matching the levels of 2020. But at the same time it is estimated that close to 90 million Americans<\/a>, roughly 36% of the eligible voting age population, did not vote. That number is greater than the number of people who voted for either Trump or his opponent, the Democrat Kamala Harris.<\/p>\n

We\u2019re interested to hear from people who would have been eligible to vote in the 2024 US presidential election but did not.<\/p>\n
