During the Celtics\u2019 training session ahead of their game against the Wizards, Jayson Tatum shared his thoughts on his White House visit. Reflecting on the experience, Tatum said, \u201cIt was a surreal feeling, you seeing a bunch of pictures and videos and, to go in there. You know, maybe some I never thought I would do. So, it was a cool experience.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

When asked about discussing policy or politics, Tatum skillfully avoided the topic. \u201cI was just walking around, taking a lot of pictures. So I ain\u2019t getting in any of that yesterday,\u201d<\/em> he remarked. Speaking about the highlight of his visit, Tatum chose the ceremony. \u201cBeing out there, seeing all the fans, and, being on that platform with my teammates and celebrating our championship,\u201d<\/em> he concluded.<\/p>\n

Jaylen Brown also resonated with his teammate about his experience. \u201cI would probably view it as a political decision. Everything is a political decision if you ask me. But personally, what I would say is, like, I would go to Waffle House or wherever with my guys to celebrate what we\u2019ve done. It doesn\u2019t really matter. It was about our group,\u201d<\/em> JB said when asked about the visit and if he was a part of any policy discussion. \u201cSo to celebrate with our group, you know that we did something special.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
