Sebastian Gorka\/X<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Former Trump administration adviser Sebastian Gorka<\/strong> will return to the White House next year, President-elect Donald Trump<\/strong> announced on Friday night.<\/p>\n

Trump<\/a> took to his Truth Social account to announce his intention to nominate a number of cabinet appointments, filling chairs for the Departments of Labor, Transportation, and the Treasury.<\/p>\n

In a news release<\/a>, Trump announced Gorka would serve as a counterterrorism adviser.<\/p>\n

\u201cDr. Sebastian Gorka will be returning to the White House as Deputy Assistant to the President, and Senior Director for Counterterrorism,\u201d Trump wrote. He continued of the radio host and author:<\/p>\n

Since 2015, Dr. Gorka has been a tireless advocate for the America First Agenda and the MAGA Movement, serving previously as Strategist to the President in the first Trump Administration. Dr. Gorka is a legal immigrant to the United States, with more than 30 years of National Security experience.<\/p>\n

In 2015, he was one of my Advisors for the GOP Primary Debates on National Security. At the time, he held the Major General Matthew C. Horner Chair of Military Theory at the Marine University Foundation, and was a Guest Instructor at the JFK Special Warfare Center and School, Fort Bragg. Prior to that, he was Associate Dean for Congressional Affairs and Relations to the Special Operations Community at National Defense University, and Kokkalis Fellow at Harvard\u2019s Kennedy School of Government. He is a Recipient of the DoD Joint Civilian Service Commendation awarded by USSOCOM for his work in Counterterrorism.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Gorka grabbed unfavorable headlines in July when he referred to Vice President Kamala Harris<\/strong> as \u201ccolored\u201d during an interview<\/a> with Newsmax TV.<\/p>\n

Network host Rob Schmitt<\/strong> questioned whether Harris could court swing state voters as well as President Joe Biden<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cRob, you\u2019re being logical,\u201d Gorka replied with sarcasm. \u201cStop it. All right. She\u2019s a DEI hire, right? She\u2019s a woman! She\u2019s colored! Therefore she\u2019s got to be good. And at least her brain doesn\u2019t literally freeze in mid-sentence.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gorka was ousted<\/a> from the Trump White House in 2017 and was<\/a> a Fox News contributor until 2019.<\/p>\n

After Gorka wrote a resignation letter citing anti-MAGA \u201cforces\u201d he had dealt with, a White House source told Politico, \u201cSebastian Gorka did not resign, but I can confirm he no longer works at the White House.\u201d<\/p>\n
