BANGKOK, Thailand<\/em> \u2013 H.E. Mr. Maris Sangiampongsa, Minister of Foreign Affairs, welcomed and had a discussion with H.E.Mrs. Maria Malmer Stenergard, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Sweden, on her visit to Thailand, 22 November.<\/p>\n

The discussions focused on enhancing trade, investment, and bilateral cooperation, particularly in defense technology, innovation, as well as the protection of Thai berry pickers in Sweden.<\/p>\n

Both sides also addressed the ongoing Thailand-EU FTA negotiations, Thailand\u2019s OECD accession, and exchanged views on the situations in Ukraine and Myanmar, including fostering multilateral collaboration. (MFA)<\/em>
