Down for over a year due to a quad injury, the Dolphins guard is back on the team\u2019s 53-man squad.<\/p>\n<p>Miami is activating Wynn from IR and waiving offensive lineman <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/C\/CottLe00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=www.profootballrumors.com&amp;utm_campaign=2024-11-25_pfr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Lester Cotton<\/a><\/strong>. Wynn had worked as the Dolphins\u2019 left guard starter when healthy last season, but it has been a long road back for the former first-round pick.<\/p>\n<p>The Dolphins have now given Wynn two one-year contracts, the second of which at a slightly lower rate due to the significant injury sustained. Wynn re-signed with Miami for $1.89MM, factoring in an expected in-season absence. Like <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/C\/ChubBr00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=www.profootballrumors.com&amp;utm_campaign=2024-11-25_pfr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Bradley Chubb<\/a><\/strong>\u2018s, that absence has proven lengthy.
