CNN announced Tuesday that prime-time host Kaitlan Collins<\/strong><\/a> will also serve as chief White House correspondent \u2014 in a move that will see her become the first CNN anchor to simultaneously hold both high-profile roles.<\/p>\n

Collins is no stranger to the White House beat after serving as CNN\u2019s youngest-ever chief White House correspondent in 2021. Now she is poised to return to cover the incoming Trump administration.<\/p>\n

After stepping away from the role in 2022 to co-host the CNN morning show, she transitioned to prime time in 2023 with The Source with Kaitlan Collins<\/em>. <\/p>\n

Throughout her career, Collins has consistently demonstrated a track record of exclusive reporting\u202fand news making interviews, breaking numerous scoops in the weeks since the election alone.<\/p>\n
