He was Limpopo&#8217;s first premier for ten years from 1994 and sat on the ANC&#8217;s NEC from 1991 until 2022. He is expected to advocate for equal treatment among the different kingdoms in the country.<\/p>\n<h2>South Africans reject him<\/h2>\n<p class=\"align-left\">Netizens commenting on @SowetanLIVE&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/SowetanLIVE\/status\/1861784926661582963\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">tweet<\/a> refused to accept his appointment. <\/p>\n<p class=\"align-left\">Joas Chidi asked:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;How? Is he even a member of the royal family?&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"align-left\">Ngwato Thobejane said:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;As members of the Bapedi royal family, we were not consulted.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"align-left\">Mlando said:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;A well-known spy becomes a prime minister.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"align-left\">Styles Rampora asked:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;How sure is it that Ngoako Ramatlhodi is Mopedi?
