Chef Andre Rush has been tasked with one of the most essential roles <\/a>in Donald Trump’s administration: feeding him. <\/p>\n

Recently, the celebrity chef who previously served Trump last time in office spilled tea about Trump’s patriotic love<\/a> of fast food and unhealthy indulgences. The military veteran turned cook said he hopes that some of the president’s eating habits<\/a> have changed since.<\/p>\n

“It’s up to the kitchen staff to get creative when it comes to meals – basically, tricking him into eating healthier<\/a> via tasty dishes,” Rush explained to TMZ.<\/p>\n

Rush recounted how Trump once, for a State Dinner, ordered enough McDonald’s Quarter Pounders<\/a>, Big Macs and Filet-o-Fish to serve a football team. “[You] can’t get McDonald’s at the White House because it’s the White House – no one can bring it inside. [The burgers] would be made in-house. Even so, that would take huge preparations and even McDonald’s wouldn’t know it was going there. That’s work – so the McDonald’s would be more so when out on locations,” Rush explained to The Sun<\/a>. The former president is known for his preference for McDonald’s and other fast-food chains due to his fear of being poisoned<\/a>. As these meals are pre-prepared, he considers them safer than other food sources, the Mirror <\/a>reported. <\/p>\n

Allegedly, Trump’s nighttime routine included locking himself away from Melania and the Secret Service to eat hamburgers<\/a> and watch TV in peace. <\/p>\n

Rush revealed that Melania would never be seen<\/a> eating the same thing as Don “cause she may be on her diet, or have a diet, or he may be on the fly and on the run, and stuff just happens that way.”<\/p>\n

However, when Trump returns to the White House, Rush said the president-elect should eat junk food “sparingly<\/a>” and make some improvements to stay healthy for the job<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“I would say to him, especially eight years later and at age of 78, is just stop for a second, dictate your meals, get what your dietitian, whatnot, and say, ‘Hey, I’ll incorporate some healthy meals into my diet’,” Rush said. <\/p>\n
