Prime Minister of Poland Donald Tusk will cease to perform his official duties for a few days. The reason is the passage planned medical procedure.
This was announced on Sunday, November 10, by the press service of the Polish government, the Government Information Center. They said Tusk had undergone a “routine medical procedure.”
He is expected to return to work in Wednesday, November 13.
“The Government Information Center reports that Prime Minister Donald Tusk has undergone a planned medical procedure. He will return to his duties next Wednesday,” the statement said.
The government did not specify what procedure the prime minister went through.
The Polish newspaper Rzeczpospolita writes that Tusk is “silent about the procedure.” The last message from him on social network X was published on November 6, when he congratulated Republican Donald Trump with victory in the presidential elections.
And on Facebook on Sunday, November 10, Tusk published a general photo with grandson. “I’m proud as a peacock” he wrote, comparing the photo to a similar one from ten months ago, when his grandson was shorter than him.
