According to the general secretary of “Georgian Dream”, the mayor of Tbilisi, Kakha Kaladze, four opposition parties secretly sent an anti-state letter to the ministers of foreign affairs of EU member states, with which they “demand to declare the parliamentary elections illegitimate and to suspend relations with Georgia at all levels”.
As Kaladze stated at the beginning of the session of the capital’s government, this is a radical group that is fighting against Georgian statehood.
According to him, the politics of the opposition is saturated with hatred, anti-government actions and betrayal of the country and its own population is their daily routine.
“Four parties representing the radical opposition (“National Movement”, “Akhali “,”Lelo ” and “Gakharia for Georgia”) secretly sent an anti-state letter to the ministers of foreign affairs of EU member states. They provided us with this letter, which reads: “To postpone the meetings of the Georgia-EU Association Council, to suspend all high-level political dialogues, to freeze technical cooperation mechanisms, to suspend the allocation of 120 million euros of annual financial assistance to Georgia and to distribute these funds to non-governmental organizations and so-called independent media, Create a mechanism for direct financing of civil organizations” – these are the demands read in this anti-state letter.
Radicals demand the declaration of illegitimate parliamentary elections and suspension of relations with Georgia at all levels. In an anti-state letter sent to the foreign ministers of EU countries, they call on the EU to initiate a special mission in Georgia within 30 days.
This is a radical group, pests who are fighting against Georgian statehood. They are ordinary traitors. Their politics is saturated with hatred, anti-state actions, and I want the public to evaluate all this. It is no stranger to anyone that we are dealing with an opposition force – betrayal of the country and its own population is their declared policy and it is a daily routine.
Of course, as before, we will not allow their plans to be implemented. “Today, the government, which has the full support of the majority of the population, is strong and has the ability to protect the country from unrest, has the power to maintain peace in the country,” Kaladze said.
