Ivanka Trump was 'left mortified' as Barron Trump pulled 'cringy' stunt at White House

During the inauguration back in 2017, Ivanka Trump was seen holding her son while standing behind the US President as he filled out paperwork in the White House. However, Barron Trump was spotted playing peek-a-boo with Ivanka’s son, Theodore.

In the video clip, he then tried to get the baby to high five him while standing next to his mother, Melania Trump. Social media users had mixed reactions to the then 10-year-old’s actions.

One social media user wrote: “This still makes me cringe. It’s demeaning and embarrassing to me and I had nothing to do with it.”

Another added: “This isn’t cute. He’s old enough to know better.” A third person said: “His mother looks mortified.”

But most people found the moment “cute” and they “loved” it. Barron Trump, now 14, reportedly spoke three languages as a child, according to Melania.

As a child, Barron appeared to speak with a “Slovenian accent” in a video at four years old. Melania told CNN’s Larry King who commented on his accent: “He does have one. He spends most of the time with me. Donald Trump’s son Barron speaks in ‘Slovenian accent’ in 2004” “He speaks three languages actually.”

A book by Slovenian journalist Bojan Pozar, “Melania Trump – The Inside Story: The Potential First Lady,” reported Barron speaks Slovenian with Melania’s sister Ines.

Mr Polar described the President’s family dynamics, revealing: “Barron almost certainly speaks Slovenian with Melania’s sister Ines, his aunt, who also lives in New York.”

He elaborated further by disclosing, “Ines Knavs was the one who took care of all the paperwork at the Slovenia consulate in New York so that Barron could formally acquire Slovenian citizenship.”

He pointed out that Barron, being the US President’s youngest son, has been seen growing up in the White House. Recently, the public noticed that he has had a significant growth spurt, standing far taller than his father, Donald, who is 6-foot-2.

This was apparent as the family were seen walking together, with Barron’s height clearly noticeable, towering above Donald. Meanwhile, Melania, without heels, stands at 5-foot-11.

Barron most recently played a crucial part in his father’s re-election, helping his dad secure the youth vote.
